Example scenario

A 2,000 TL jacket with 20 percent then 10 percent off: first 2,000 times 0.80 equals 1,600 TL, then 1,600 times 0.90 equals 1,440 TL. Total saving 560 TL, effective rate 28 percent.

Check your result

Verify via steps: 20 percent of 2,000 is 400 TL, 10 percent of 1,600 is 160 TL. Check two decimals on fractions.
