This tool computes the great-circle distance between two cities plus estimated flight time, with rough figures for car, train, and walking too. No, it gives straight-line distance. Driving winds longer through curves and ring roads; use navigation for that.
How accurate is flight time?
A rough estimate at 850 km/h plus half an hour for climb and descent. Layovers and wind are excluded.

My village is missing?
The list covers provinces and major centers. Pick the nearest one; the difference is a few kilometers.
Are results stored?

How accurate are train and walking times?
They are rough: a winding factor stretches the distance and a fixed speed is assumed. Schedules and transfers are excluded, so check timetables when booking.
