Location data in a shared photo can reveal a home address. This tool lists camera, date and GPS data from JPEG files. The clean button removes the APP1 metadata section and downloads a new file without touching pixels. Everything runs on-device.

Step by step

  1. Select a JPEG photo (max 20 MB).
  2. Press view to read camera, date and GPS rows.
  3. Consider who will see any location row.
  4. Press clean to download the new file.
  5. Re-open the new file to confirm an empty list.

Example scenario

A seller notices GPS in a listing photo points at home. The file goes into the tool, latitude rows appear. Cleaning downloads a fresh file; re-check shows nothing. The safe version is published.

Check your result

Re-open the cleaned file for zero rows left. Confirm smaller size with identical image. Archive the original separately.
