Social Sharing Preview: See the Card Early

Prepared by: Gsetsoft · Updated:

Posts sharing with missing titles get fewer clicks. This guide shows how og:title, description, image, and twitter:card may appear. Check only public posts over standard ports, max six requests. Never query login-gated drafts.

Step by step

  1. Enter the full public page address.
  2. Start the query and let the server read the page.
  3. Review the card fields.
  4. Fix missing text or images in the source.
  5. Wait briefly, re-query the card.

Example scenario

A recipe post is live. The preview shows correct title, truncated description, missing image. Tags are fixed and an image uploaded. A fresh check shows a complete card; the shared link looks tidy.

Check your result

Read title and description first for truncation. Confirm the image is public with enough resolution. Add missing tags and query again. Caches may show older cards.
