Merge Spreadsheets

Prepared by: Gsetsoft · Updated:

Combining sales lists from two branches needs one table. This tool processes CSV, TSV, XLSX or JSON in your browser; nothing is uploaded. Headers must match exactly, files should be UTF-8. Formulas do not transfer, only raw values.

Step by step

  1. Save both lists as UTF-8, note the delimiter.
  2. Open the tool, upload files one by one.
  3. Align headers identically in both files.
  4. Merge, check row count in the preview.
  5. Download the table for your report.

Example scenario

Branch lists of 420 and 380 rows saved as UTF-8 upload cleanly. Matching headers merge into one 800-row table. A pivot table compares branch revenue.

Check your result

Verify total rows equal both sources combined. Header must appear once on top. Wrong delimiters collapse data into one column; fix the source.

Frequently asked questions

Headers spelled differently?

Columns match by name; unify spellings first.

Broken characters?

Re-save as CSV UTF-8.

Formulas preserved?

No, only calculated values.

Comma or semicolon?

Both work if consistent across files.
